Willkommen zu meinem Online-Format, mit dem ich einmal im Monat meine Herzensthemen zu Euch nach Hause bringen möchte.

Die neue Liveshow - Allein kann ich die Welt nicht retten

Für die große Leinwand habe ich "Allein kann ich die Welt nicht retten" ebenfalls adptiert.

In ihr erzähle ich live und sehr persönlich von meinen Einblicken und Erfahrungen als reisender Fotograf. 

Packende Geschichten aus dreißig Jahren „Umweltschutz mit der Kamera“, die die Zuschauer ermutigen sollen, sich mit positiver Kraft und Herzblut für gesunde Lebensgrundlagen und ein friedliches Miteinander einzusetzen. 

Bei allen von Greenpeace organisierten Abenden lautet der Titel der Show: "Die Welt im Blick".

Die Reportage ist ab sofort buchbar. Ich freue mich auf spannende Abende mit echtem Publikum, sobald es die gesellschaftliche Situation nach der Corona Pandemie wieder erlaubt. 

In the past three years, I have been traveling with my camera in various parts of the planet and have taken many photos and brought exciting experiences back home. Indigenous people thereby play a central role. People from four continents, living in such diverse habitats as forests, savannas, ice or water, tell their stories. A film team accompanied me all along. From over 150 hours of footage a cinema film did emerge. Moving pictures also enrich my new live show. The tour through Germany started at the 13. of November in Hamburg together with Greenpeace. In addition, a high-quality premium picture book, published by Knesebeck Verlag, did appears.

At the world’s edges

They live on the fringes of the world we know, the last indigenous communities - far from civilization, yet affected by their consequences.
Before these last indigenous ways of life have to give way to constant globalization, photographer Markus Mauthe traveled to them - with the aim of making the beauty of their cultures visible to us.
The journey leads from South Sudan and Ethiopia to the sea nomads in Malaysia and the Indians in the Brazilian Mato Grosso, who have begun to defend themselves against the destruction of their habitat.
Markus Mauthe has been celebrating great success for years, not only with his pictures, but also with his travel lectures - more than 250,000 spectators have visited his reports and shows over the last 25 years. Now he has been accompanied for the first time by a film team and granted an insight into his work.

Fazenda Almada

AMAP (Almada Mata Atlantica Project) is our non-profit nature conservation organization. We plant tropical rainforests in the area of the Brazilian cocoa coast, and provide their permanent protection. Help us to help one of the most biodiverse, but also endangered ecosystems on earth. Engaged people from Brazil and Germany are working on this important task with a lot of passion under the banner of AMAP. We launched the HORIZONTA. These are daily festivals that we organize in Kiel, Lübeck, Hamburg, Kassel & Reutlingen. Once a year, the best speakers will give live lectures of their adventures and show their photos and films on the big screen. Our non-profit association AMAP is the organizer. All profits go directly into the tropical forest projects of AMAP. In addition to its cultural performance, the event series is understood as a communication platform for the exchange and sensitization to environmental and climate protection. With this concept, HORIZONTA fills a previously empty space of such an event concept in Germany.

We look forward to many exciting encounters and lasting experiences.

We’re “stronger” together!

These are the absolute highlights of my life as a speaker – the evenings when I’m up on stage as a “hunter of the light” together with my four friends Ingo, David, Bernd and Florian.  Each person – an expert at what he does – together in one show that’s invariably a unique experience for both the visitors and the speakers alike.

Das Projekt hat ein großes Medienecho ausgelöst. 

Dank des Kinofilmes, der Live-Show und des Bildbandes habe ich im Laufe des Herbstes 2018 einen regelrechten Marathon durch TV-Studios und Radiostationen machen dürfen. Ich bin sehr dankbar, daß das Thema allerorts auf offene Ohren stößt. So gut es mir möglich ist, werde ich in den kommenden drei Jahren die Stimmen der Indigenen zu möglichst vielen Menschen tragen. Der Erhalt unserer natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen geht uns Alle an. Nur als große, geeinte Menschenfamilie können wir diese schwierige Aufgabe meistern. Dazu ist es keine schlechte Idee, die Geschichten derer zu erzählen die nicht im täglichen Rampenlicht stehen.
